2025 in Review
Many were correct in the prediction that 2024 Christmas would be a difficult one for the earth. However, prayer changes things or mitigates situations. Thus, the prayer said a few weeks before Christmas brought a turnaround to many who confessed 2024 Christmas was one of the best in their experience.
Many have also seen 2025 with the challenges that will come, but also prayers and decrees can reposition situations such that, as in ancient Israel, when famine and war became the reality for many, others saw themselves being succored and cuddled up in God’s abundance.
Commitment for 2025
The message of forgiveness and peace is key to escaping the trials (please read entire Rom 12 and Mat 5).
Extraordinaire
This year begins on a symbolic (day of Baptism in Christocentric Calendar) and may the manifestation of the Messiah to all who have not embraced Him be unprecedented, many non-Christians will come to the Faith. May the deepening of personal commitment to Christ become unprecedented to all who believe they already encountered Him. Truer
Conversions among many Christians.

The Woman and the Dragon
Reflection 2
“Children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have come; therefore, we know that it is the last hour. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out, that it might be plain that they all are not of us…22Who is the liar, if it is not the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, who denies the Father and the Son.” (1 John 2:18–22.)
Genesis 3 and Revelation 12 are two parallels that complement each other. Both are prophecies made before the beginning of the world (Revelation 3) and after the beginning of the world (Genesis 3.) Genesis 3 is specific about the figure of the woman. It is a person. The first woman who the second woman replaces was also a human being. The prophesy of Genesis 3:15 and Rev.12 continue the account of the physical existence of human beings from the genealogy of a real human parent. Adam and Eve (a Man and a woman) were the first parents by nature, and when they lost the relationship with God, all humanity originating from them also lost the relationship with God. There was a need for restoration and God chose the same order of a man and a woman for the restoration, “And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel” (Gen.3:15.)
The rage of the serpent against the woman was fulfilled in time, “A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. 2 She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth. 3 Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on its heads… Then war broke out in heaven” (Rev.12;), “But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, 5 to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons. 6 And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!” 7 So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God.”
Thus, when we think of the order of restoration promised in Genesis 3 and Rev.12, what should come to our mind is that they are human beings. Other allegories can only come after affirming the basic truth. The Virgin Mary brought forth the Messiah and through the Messiah all nations have become the begotten of God. Through Israel God unveiled the first covenant to all nations. Through the Church God unveils the new covenant to all nations. The symbol of 12 stars in Revelation represents the entire human race. Many have described the entire humanity with the allegories of the 12 tribes of Israel. Both Israel and the Church are children of the Woman; and both Israel and the Church have become one family in the Messiah.
The war of the serpent against the woman can be hydra-headed. We see this war continuing in secular societies that promise all solutions of human societies through science, intending a new world order where the Messiah is removed from everywhere, “a pseudo-messianism by which man glorifies himself in place of God and of his Messiah come in the flesh” (CCC 675). The wide-spread civilization and culture that deny the existence of God or undermine the supremacy of God over human intellect, has the dragon lying underneath its papyrus.
Nevertheless, the war has been won; in God’s permissive Will, it continues so that the book of life will be filled by all who emerge victorious. Victory comes by believing and turning to the Blood of the Lamb “They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb” (Rev.12:11.) The war will come to an end, (but pay attention,) now it is intensified as all demons seemed to have invaded earth vacating hell because the time is short, “Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding in his hand the key to the bottomless pit[a] and a great chain. 2 And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, 3 and threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he might not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were ended” (Rev.20.)
Where else do we see the war? The mission given to the woman in Genesis 3 was to bring forth a Son, Emmanuel, God is with us. His presence is in all things and all places. This is what is meant by the words “He shall rule with iron scepter” (Rev.12:5.) The mission of the dragon is to attempt to swallow the Son and he is doing that in removing Him from schools and many other sectors. This is not civilization; it is a warfare. C S Lewis stated that human beings are like marionettes dancing to a drum whose beaters are hidden. And we know that the ancient spirit never dies. The dragon also attacks the Woman in other subtle ways by trying to claim that the figure of the woman in Revelation 12 is just an allegory. She is a real person whose mission continues through the Church (Judeo-Christian religion.) The allegory does not replace the main subject. The Woman comes to the assistance of the family of God as we see in the case of the Battle of Lepanto that happened on a day 10/7/1571, which has made october 7 enshrined iconically as the symbol for the intercession of the woman in the new covenant like Esther of old (Battle of Lepanto – Wikipedia.) As the current rage of the dragon towards the children of the woman intensifies, victory will come swiftly as we turn to the Blood of the Lamb and the Rosary, the prayer of glorification of the Messiah born of the woman (Our Lady of the Rosary – Wikipedia.)

Reflection 3
Today we celebrate St Agnes, only 12 years but heroic. She’s a virgin and martyr. She had resisted an aggressor who sought to defile her virginity, and she died in the process. She forgave and prayed for him. Later the man repented and spent the rest of his life in the monastery.
Molestation and Forgiveness
It’s not an easy experience to be molested and also the post traumatic experience. Healing is possible through forgiveness and letting God be the Judge. This has brought soothing and deep healing to many who take the heroic decision. May God give graces to all who have been violated. Oftentimes this violation can come from unexpected persons. In many encounters with persons from Masonic families, the father violating the daughter is very common. Dead or alive, they need forgiveness. Oftentimes ritual cults have compelled persons to act in ways that belittle their integrity at the threat to take their lives or all their wealth. No excuses, nevertheless, but forgiveness is the way for all who seek to move forward and prosper in their lives. D. Tutu of South Africa rightly says that there’s no future without forgiveness.
Catharsis (Addictions and Vanity)
For some others, we may not have to demonstrate our love for God before an external aggressor but by curbing the inner aggressor. This is what it means to take our crosses daily, dying to self. Many choose kindness over the impulse of revenge. Many choose patience over the impulse of outbursts of anger. Many choose purity over the impulse of infidelity or pornography. Many choose sobriety over the impulse of drunkenness or smoking weeds (I recall in 2008 when I was asked to preach that the Lord does not want persons smoking even cigarettes. And a man approached me stating that the Blessed Mother requested that he gave up smoking at the beginning of his conversion. Does it happen overnight? For some yes, but for others God gives them graces to eventually quit it.) The Lord is patient and kind and helps us in our journey to deeper intimacy with Him.

I Corinthians 15
30And why should we risk our lives hour by hour? 31For I swear, dear brothers and sisters, that I face death daily. This is as certain as my pride in what Christ Jesus our Lord has done in you. 32And what value was there in fighting wild beasts—those people of Ephesusf—if there will be no resurrection from the dead? And if there is no resurrection, “Let’s feast and drink, for tomorrow we die!”g 33Don’t be fooled by those who say such things, for “bad company corrupts good character.” 34Think carefully about what is right, and stop sinning. For to your shame I say that some of you don’t know God at all.

THIRSTING FOR YOU OH LORD
Reflection 4
“Deep is calling on deep” says the Psalmist. Our God is Spirit and no one encounters Him deeply who does not practice silence and meditation. Our world today is busy and noisy and has made religion shabby and shallow. God is deep and can be found by delving into the deep waters of silence. Magnificent as our God, like big fishes, He can hardly found in shallow waters.
“Here am I Lord, I have come to do Your Will”
Knowing His Will is the highway to pleasing Him. Oftentimes the person who gives us a million dollars when we do not have immediate need for it can be less impactful to us than the person who gave us ten dollars when we need food badly. May the Lord bless all who practice long fasts and those who give huge tithes. May they accompany these with seeking to be with the Lord in silence and attend to what is immediately needed in His heart.
Oftentimes our familiar environment and rooms may not be of help to practice silence. Take a time to be alone with Him either by visiting a shrine to spend a quiet time with Him alone or in a forest (for those used to desert prayers) or going to a retreat. In this silence also you’ll find rest and strength “2Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” .

Progress of every soul
Reflection 5
Why are many churches pews empty and many persons giving up on God?
To live in day or week or year without a goal is a predisposition for eventual atrophy, that is, eventual depletion of enthusiasm, and the final inevitable result is called “quitting.”
Many Christians leave the church, many priests leave the priesthood, many religious
leave their orders, many marriages are defunct, etc., here is the first step to it. And I pray this will reverse the wheels of the train/ferry hastening to exhaustion where many are currently onboarded.
There’s a story of a mass hysteria experienced in a rural community. One day the villagers woke up to a shock. All the dogs in the city were seen running and barking.
The number of dogs increased as they ran past the street because the dogs joined them running and barking. Eventually many of the dogs were seen returning to the homes of the owners, exhausted, and their tongues flapping as we see when dogs are tired.
After some time only one of the dogs continued running and barking. Eventually, persons saw it returning with a big rabbit in its mouth. That was the dog that started the running, and it didn’t stop until it got what set it running. There was purpose behind its running, a purpose that generated an unrelenting strength until it got the inheritance.
Many Christians are in the church because they were baptized by someone’s faith. Many join the priesthood because they saw other peers going into it. Many as well went into religious life or even marriage, not knowing any purpose. When you see a purposeful Christian, the difference is clear. A pastor comes and a pastor goes, they stand “gidigba” (strongly unshakable) in their faith commitment. They know that God is real. They have encountered His Love. When persons say they left the Church and became unbelievers because of what is happening in the church or wherever, the question is “what set them initially running the race of faith?” Man or eternal life with God, an inheritance too precious to abandon. We do not deny the distraction that comes from a bad example from persons trusted with responsibility, however, religious enthusiasm has alwayshad a foothold in the heart of one who has encountered God.
(We will continue this conversation also on the stages of the progress of the soul and
how each day and each year should be filled with sanguine enthusiasm only for those
running with a purpose.)

Intellectual Gridlock
Reflection 6
For all our modern scientists and civilized young people, it’s pertinent to emphasize that our education can become a costly snare when it goes beyond its basic purpose. Can we talk?
Let’s begin by stating what some mystics underlined: In the question of God’s existence, one demon knows all the arguments about this than the natural intelligence of all human beings put together because every demon has existed before the creation of the universe. No one can outsmart him or become convinced of God’s existence solely by rational scrutiny. In that debate of the existence of God by reason alone, one ends in submitting to reasons beyond any other logical explanation. Once one opens this conversation or wants to know why he or she should believe that there’s God by reason alone, at a time one sees that he or she has arrived at what is referred in intellectual discipline as “paralysis of analysis.” All the reasons your mind can fathom at a time will be unmatched by other insinuations that keep coming up in your mind, until one succumbs. But in many cases, there’s an “insinuator,” a hidden ominous creature in that dialogue
who also outmatched Eve (Gen.3) at the beginning of human history when she started reasoning with him on the reasonability of what God said.
The new Eve reversed this by stating “let it be done to me according to your Word.” (Lk.1) And when the hideous foe came to outsmart the Lord Jesus, He conquered him by the words “It is written…” (Lk4.) He has left a permanent legacy for all the humble who desire eternal life. No one wins the argument of belief in God by reasoning alone. When you start doubting what you already have been taught, that is, what’s already expressly written in the Word of God, there’s an inevitable gridlock. St. Thomas whom we celebrate today, one of the best brains the world has ever seen, known as “Doctor Magnificus” after writing many volumes about God’s existence, humbly confessed the limitations of these volumes in the same way other great minds ended up their works stating that they’re like a drop of water in a sea of God’s magnificence, and thus worth nothing. “What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul.” All the education offers are good, but please, dearly beloved, never allow it to rob you of your soul and eternal life, which is real.

The Reward for Obedience
Reflection 7
Nations and persons have come on the thresholds of divine restoration and unprecedented blessings as prophesied. But these will not happen automatically. History is the best teacher and Santayana, the American philosopher, rightly stated that whoever ignores the history of their predecessors will be shocked by the same doom they encountered. In the first book of the Bible, an ageless, inevitable sequence is revealed: Adam and Eve choose to disobey, and then the curse( Gen.3)
What the Lord is asking for first and foremost is to lead persons to a return to Him and then the blessing will flow. This message is for all leaders and to any person who wants to be part of the restoration. Persons need to return to the church services/liturgy at least once a week and repent of their sins. In the first reading today, the Holy Spirit says “Do not stay away from your community/church gatherings for worship.” (Heb.10) The First act of restoration is restoring the place of God in our hearts and our nations.
Whoever captures this truth will be the instrument of restoration and the one memorialized. Kindly act and claim all the blessings in Deuteronomy 28.

Blessings for Obedience
28 If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you. Today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. 2 All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God:
3 You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country.
4 The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock—the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks.
5 Your basket and your kneading trough will be blessed.
6 You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.
7 The Lord will grant that the enemies who rise against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven.
8 The Lord will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The Lord your God will bless you in the land he is giving you.
9 The Lord will establish you as his holy people, as he promised you on oath, if you keep the commands of the Lord your God and walk in obedience to him.
10 Then all the people on earth will see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they will fear you.
11 The Lord will grant you abundant prosperity—in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your ground—in the land he swore to your ancestors to give you.
12 The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. 13 The Lord will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the Lord your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom. 14 Do not turn aside from any of the commands I give you today, to the right or the left, following other gods and serving them.

The royal way to influence
Reflection 8
St John Bosco had a vision that turned to become a preview of his life. He had seen a large beautiful garden filled with splendid petals of roses. A paradise. Then he was shown a path littered with some thorns leading to the garden, and as he walked that path in some occasions the thorns perforated his sandals causing little blood flow. And there was little relief also succoring the points of perforations. He continued to walk until eventually he found himself dancing and rejoicing in the garden filled with indescribable galore of scented flowers.
Some years after the vision, when he started his religious community, the Salesians, he encountered many trials: blackmails, misunderstandings, his imperfections, betrayal by some of the boys he labored for their recovery, a broken heart (and he survived a heartbreak that put him into unconscious hospitalization) etc. Shortly afterwards the Salesians exploded over the earth, and became the magnet for divine encounters, drawing young men and women to Christ as if a spell had been released. The Salesians became the pride of the church and an ornamental garden producing many saints.
Oftentimes, many want the garden but they do not want the royal way. The royal way is a school, it tamed the spirit of John Bosco, saving him from vain glory and taught him how to turn all the glory to God than celebrate himself. Many are in that school of royal way now; kindly know that it’s a way of Divine love that helps you build capacities to handle the weight of influence without falling into vain glory. No one who seeks influence for itself gets it, but anyone who sets his or her heart on Christ alone will become the vessel influencing persons for Christ.

Philippians 3
7 But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. 8 What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in[a] Christ—the righteousness that comes from God based on faith. 10 I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death,
11 and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead.

See what determines every result you are receiving
Reflection 9
Everyone lives according to their limits. The possibilities and opportunities that one enjoys depend upon these. The limits many persons live in are not superimposed but they deliberately cooperate in them. At the end of it all, the results we see are the physical representation of our inward convictions. The Scripture says “Be it done to you according to your belief/faith.”
Seriously, please pay attention to the ones you listen to. The friends and admirers of the synagogue officials today in the Gospel came and persuaded him while he was with Jesus seeking help for his dying daughter “Your daughter is dead, while trouble the Master.” (Mark 5) The spies sent by Moses had offered a persuasive report “We are like grasshoppers before them.” (Num.13)
None of those spies had an inheritance in the Promised Land. When Jesus arrived at the official’s house. He did put away the ones who mocked the possibility of restoring the girl. There are worldviews, television programs, reports (either from professionals or honest admirers) that we must put away from our heads when we turn solely to God, before Whom nothing is impossible.
Scripture
Please read Mark 5 today. May God heal all suffering from hemorrhages of blood and
persons in need of restoration.

In the kingdom of God there are no spectators
Reflection 10
The Lord is calling many and they can hear the voice within. They’re made for the call so deep in their hearts even if the voice sounds so faint. He builds His Kingdom with the childlike, that is, persons who cannot see reasons to justify any audacity to volunteer. He calls those who experience a voice that tells them they’re not worthy and cannot do it. Those who are still going through addictions. Weaknesses are providential magnets to God’s power. He does not put His strength on strength. And Isaiah, who felt the same way stated, “Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator. He will not grow tired and weary…and increases the power of the weak”
(Isa.40.)
The Lord has made everyone for one ultimate purpose “to love Him, serve Him and to be with Him” now and for all eternity. Everyone on earth has a special assignment designed when they’re being fashioned. Just like every species of tree provides different fruits and fragrances, so the Lord has made each person to produce a unique fruit that no one else can produce.
He is calling all. It’s time to participate in His Kingdom on earth. Oftentimes many who want to serve are discouraged by an innate locutor, a voice so deep that forces a conversation within them, compelling them to compliance and inactivity. The hidden voice reminds them what their lives have been in the past. The voice can also showcase a catalogue of their lack of skills or talents, and why they should not embarrass themselves by committing to any service for the Lord. At the end, they may say “I do not know the Bible or the Catechism and cannot volunteer in preaching about God or as a catechist.” “I don’t have a college degree and cannot be a lector.” “My voice is awful and I can’t sing in the choir.” “My passions misled me and I can’t be a priest or nun.” Is it not amazing that the first blessed eyes to see Jesus after Resurrection and preached about Him were those of Mary Magdalene? How the Lord amazed us to choose Saul, a former murderer, to win many souls in his weakness.
Beloved, our first employment on earth is to build the Kingdom of God. How many people commit to building their companies and places of work, and forget the building of the Kingdom of the Lord. “But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal” Mat.6. Kindly see what you can do in your local church community.

Co-Redeemers
Reflection 11
The Lord can permit that one is momentarily deprived of rest in exchange for eternal rest to some needy souls. When St Paul wrote these words, “Now I rejoice in what I am suffering for you, and I fill up in my flesh what is still lacking regarding Christ’s afflictions, for the sake of His Body, which is the Church” (Col.1:24.) it is an instruction for all on the pilgrimage to heaven. The Lord allows us to participate in the activation and release of redemption that He has won for all.
Many in the world today experience that the more they want to turn their hearts to God, it would seem that difficulties break out from different angles. Oftentimes some have asked God whether it is a crime to turn away from what displeases Him. The questions come from an anguish that has plagued a soul unto a tipping point.
In recent times, a revelation was given about the sleep deprivation that many experience in the world now, especially persons who seek to glorify God. The recommendation is they should pray when they cannot sleep rather than let their rage cease their passions. The Lord loves us so much as to abandon us to the whims of satan. Oftentimes the Lord allows the adversary to wake us up for a greater good than he knows.
Many airplanes are kept safe by some who did not know why they struggled all night and turned to prayers. Many recent plane crashes are not ordinary, blood sacrifices portend to continue darkness over the world (never put all your trust in safety measures that you forget to pray when traveling.) Furthermore, many souls are being saved in those hours of prayers prompted by sleeplessness. Souls who were on the way to everlasting sleeplessness of hell are rescued and enter into eternal rest by the sleeplessness of an intercessor at the prayer watchtower.
Nevertheless, remember to remind God of His words when the situation prolongs “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it” 1 Cor.10:13.)

Anatomy of inner freedom
Reflection 12
(God’s Mercy is Immense)
Once a person does what sets his or her soul in a motion of uneasiness, the person can act in two ways revealed as possible behaviors since time immemorial. Adam and Eve were convicted within them, and though they gave excuses, but the resultant behavior was that they hid away from God and eventually set off from His presence.
On another note, some may think that persons whose voices sound rebellious or blasphemous towards God hate God, but a careful anatomy of their soul reveals something deeper. They do not hate God either. The response of Cain to God as we see in today’s reading (Genesis4) “Am I my brother’s keeper?” looks condescending and insulting to God. However, deep at the storm center of that voice is a sense of guilt.
Many persons who choose to stop coming to church or who openly speak insolently about God may not be haters of God or unbelievers. Rather, we pray that they come to this line that liberates “FORGIVE ME OH LORD!” That would have ended the years of suffering that Adam and Eve lived in. It could have ended the restless wandering heart of Cain. They didn’t do what was beyond the guilt of David, who was immediately liberated because he said “Have mercy on me, Oh Lord for I have sinned.” He lived in honor afterwards and so shall all who choose David’s response when their heart is convicted and troubled.
Scripture (Lamentations 3)
Yet this I call to mind and therefore, I have hope:
22 Because of the Lord’s great love (mercy) we are not consumed, for his compassion never fails.
23 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
24 I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.”
25 The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him;
26 it is good to wait quietly

Be still
Reflection 13
Some quotations came up while we prayed and cried out to the Lord a few days ago (see Scripture passages at the end.) Distress could be felt and there’s only one PERSON who calms storms. He is God as you’ll see in Psalm 107 at the end of this notification. And Mark 4 (see below) reveals this God.
Oftentimes the Lord allows individual persons to go through what may eventually become a global condition.
Elijah mounted his chariot as he saw a cloud as small as a finger and it expanded (I Kg.18.) Individual encounters should lead persons beyond themselves to pray for others and the universe. While reading Genesis 6 at the Mass today (2/18/25) we recalled that we’re also currently in week 6 of Ordinary Time. We also recalled the condition that drove us to intensive prayers.
It could be the reality that many in the universe currently convey a storm in their lives, their families, or jobs. Individuals form the society, and the society will eventually become what the individuals themselves live in, if prayers are neglected. And when we called out to the Lord, He stilled the storm. Oftentimes we need to get real and cry out to the Lord. There are times we cannot pray as if the teeth and breadth in our mouth are just for decoration, even before a storm that could drown us. Some even get mad at people who are crying out loud to God in prayers. We need to cry out to the Lord and say “Save us for we’re perishing” Jesus Himself got real before existential crisis as the Scripture says, “in the days of His flesh, Jesus offered up prayers and supplications, to Him who was able to save Him from death,, and He was heardbecause of His reverence” Heb.5:7.
This is the solution for all who are undergoing the same. And it’ll become the societal choice to end the societal storm, an unfolding situation we have described what we have described as “THE MESSIAH STORM” which will make a universal landfall to the footstool of Christ the King, bringing all into the era of peace. SCRIPTURES RECEIVED
Psalm 29
The Lord will bless his people with peace.

27 The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain. 28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, 29 for our “God is a consuming fire.
Psalm 107

…28Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and He brought them out of their distress.
29He calmed the storm to a whisper, and the waves of the sea were hushed.
30They rejoiced in the silence, and He guided them to the harbor they desired.…

Jesus Calms the Storm
…38But Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on the cushion. So they woke Him and said, “Teacher, don’t You care that we are perishing?”
39Then Jesus got up and rebuked the wind and the sea. “Silence!” He commanded. “Be still!” And the wind died down, and it was perfectly calm.
